Technical performance of caulking sealant 

Application:

SW caulking sealant is a new type of water stop material designed for concrete plate, rock-fill dam and dilatation joint.

Features:

1.        SW caulking sealant is made of a special rubber. It has excellent performance in plasticity, heat-resistance, cold-resistance and aging-resistance.

2.        SW caulking sealant is easy to use, non-toxic, no bad smell, water-resistant, and good adhesive performance.

Construction procedures:

1.        For various joints, chisel a V-groove of 8cm wide and 8 cm deep.

2.        Clean up stone chips, dusts, and other fragments, then fill up the uneven places with mortar and let it dry up.

3.        Make the caulking sealant into a strip of the same size as V-groove, then fill in all sides of groove with the caulking sealant strip. Cover the filled-in groove with bigger sealant strips, make the surface into convex cylinder, finally PVC protection plate should be used to cover the final surface.

Construction Notice: 

1.        Construction principles: when coating the sealant, the coating order should be: first inside, then outside; then two sides of the joints, finally the middle of the joints and cracks.

2.        The surface must be solid and dry.

3.        After coating sealant, the coated surface must be protected to avoid mechanical damage.
